Bases and Brackets

A structural base plate for all level aspects of vertical post support. This key clamp fitting when used as a base plate for guardrailing should always be positioned with the holes across the line of the guardrail to give maximum strength. The holes in the base plate are large enough to enable the use of mechanical or chemical anchor fixings.

Designed to be interchangeable with traditional welded ball standard bases. Fixing holes suit a wide range of common mechanical and chemical masonry anchors.

Base flange for sloping sites, adjustable from 11° to 29°. As the fixing holes in the base cannot be fixed in line with the applied load, it is only intended for light loads or structures which are sufficiently supported by virtue of their design. Where a greater load is required, type 132 is normally used, with the upright tube bent to the required angle.

A ground socket cast into concrete which is flush to the finished ground level. The upright is held in place using the grubscrew but can easily be removed without leaving any
obstructions.

As the fixing holes in the base cannot be fixed in line with the applied load, it is only intended for light loads or structures which are sufficiently supported by virtue of their design. This Key Clamp fitting is a base flange with toe board attachment facility. This fitting is ideal as a base for the vertical on guardrails where the addition of a toe board or kicking flat is required.

Bracket (made from Ductile Iron) for supporting the 42.4mm o/d handrail tube to a wall. The 42.4mm o/d tube is fixed to the DDA03 using either 2 x self tapping screws or 2 x pop rivets.

Bracket (made from Ductile Iron) for terminating the 42.4mm o/d handrail tube back to a wall. This bracket is used in conjunction with a 150-3 connector.
